Our home is superbly decorated and designed throughout giving not only a homely feel but a very comfortable atmosphere.
All bedrooms are well equipped with specialist beds where necessary, flat screened TV’s and telephones on request, several rooms open onto a terrace or patio. All rooms are individually decorated and furnished to a high contemporary standard.
There is a large comfortable lounge and a separate parlour. The parlour is often used by Residents wishing to invite family or friends for lunch or afternoon tea. Coffee can be enjoyed on the patio outside the parlour when the weather allows. This room is also used for family celebrations, i.e. birthdays etc. when a buffet may be provided if required. Many families have enjoyed this facility.
Excellent well balanced and nutritious meals are served in our spacious, airy dining room. We encourage Residents to socialise over lunch, making this a time of day to look forward to.

Our homemade meals are prepared from fresh produce, with a delivery of fruit and vegetables, three times a week. Special diets are catered for and are cooked according to needs. Our kitchen retained its ‘5 star’ rating at our most recent inspection.
We assess the nutritional requirements of each Resident as this is of fundamental importance to the care we provide. Determining those needs is a part of the individual assessment carried out for each new Resident to ensure the care provided maximises their quality of life.
Our philosophy starts with the understanding that no-one wants to be in a nursing home, with this in mind, our prime task is to effect this transition into the realms of the unknown in as uncomplicated and congenial manner as possible.
Maintaining dignity and privacy is of paramount importance, whilst ensuring that Residents retain the right to make their own choices about every aspect of their lives whenever possible.
